Cocktail Pueblo continue sa série de K7 de groupes qui ne tournent pas ou peu avec ce groupe au nom anti-énigmatique SERREAU GANGLOFF MANCINI NICOLAÏ GEOFFROY. Derrière ces noms de famille ne se cachent pas les 3 musiciens de FUTUROSCOPE et les 2 musiciens de SALSA (aka les 2 BOULES VANILLE sans leurs batteries). FUTUROSCOPE a déjà sorti 2 albums (sur MONOFONUS PRESS et KYTHIBONG) tandis que SALSA rien mais 2 BOULES VANILLE si, 1 album (sur SK RDS, MON CUL et GNOUGN RDS).
A l'occasion d'un jam pour rire précédent leur tournée commune de novembre 2017, tournée qui commence à l'heure où j'écris ces lignes, ils ont enregistré sans doute la meilleure session de hard-bop que la Terre ait pu entendre. Comme ce jazz appartient au passé ils n'ont gardé pour l'éternité que le reste du jam soit 2 morceaux. Musique répétitive certes, mais aussi trompettes flottantes, synthés triggé-décalé, véritables pluies de batterie, en somme, des drones pétillants! On ne s'ennuie pas chez les SERREAU GANGLOFF MANCINI NICOLAÏ GEOFFROY !

Cocktail Pueblo continues its K7 serie of not or little performing bands with this anti-enigmatic named band SERREAU GANGLOFF MANCINI NICOLAÏ GEOFFROY. Behind those last names don't hide the 3 musicians of FUTUROSCOPE and the 2 of SALSA (aka 2 BOULES VANILLE without their drums). FUTUROSCOPE has already put out 2 albums (on MONOFONUS PRESS and KYTHIBONG) while SALSA none but 2 BOULES VANILLE yes, 1 album (on SK RDS, MON CUL, and GNOUGN RDS).
On the occasion of a jam for fun session before their shared tour in november 2017, tour that just begins as I write those lines, they recorded probably the best hard bop session Earth would have ever heard. As this jazz belongs to the past, they just kept for eternity the rest of the jam, 2 tracks. Repetitive music fo sure, but also floating trumpets, triggé-décalé synths, real drums rainfalls, in other words, sparkling drones!! You don't get bored at the SERREAU GANGLOFF MANCINI NICOLAÏ GEOFFROY's !
